Welcome to the Play Museum!

(formerly known as Play/Music)

Play/Music has always been more than just music—it began with a blend of music and playful learning experiences that inspired creativity. Over time, we added even more opportunities for hands-on exploration with maker activities, STEM, and art-expanding beyond our original vision. So, we’ve reimagined our space as the Play Museum, where music, science, art, and play come together to spark curiosity and engage kids and families in new ways.

Come explore at the Play Museum!

What is the Play Museum?

The Play Museum is a vibrant, interactive space designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning in children and families. Unlike a traditional museum where you only observe exhibits, the Play Museum invites visitors to actively explore, play, and build things themselves.

What is the Hallway of Curiosity?

In our Play Museum, visitors might also enter the Hallway of Curiosity, a hallway packed with kinetic sculptures, illusions, and fascinating objects that to inspire awe and wonder.

What is the Makers Lab?

The Maker’s Lab is a separate room connected to the Play Museum. It's a dedicated space for hands-on creating, building, and experimenting with all kinds of tools and technology. This room is is full of equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, printers, and building/crafting supplies. Kids and adults can dive into projects ranging from electronics to woodworking or even flow painting, and learn skills like using tools and graphic design software in a playful, creative environment.

And where is Play/Music??
Meanwhile, Play/Music lessons take place in the Music Section of the Play Museum. This part of the museum is dedicated to musical exploration, offering lessons on various instruments, creative music theory, and unique color-based methods to make learning music fun and engaging. Here, students have access to pianos, guitars, and many other instruments, all with a colorful setup to make music learning come alive.
