A place where kids and adults can play, learn, and build.

Explore, Wonder,
& Create.

The Play Museum is a place full of creativity, wonder, and hands-on discovery. Home to Play/Music, we have a growing collection of color-coded and exotic musical instruments for visitors to try out, along with books of color-coded sheet music to play. We have a large creative play area, full with high-quality and unique toys, building/contruction sets, board games, and more. We're also home to a 3-story wooden dollhouse with furniture galore, and a huge set of brio train tracks.
Other things you can do at the Play Museum are use our mixed reality/VR headsets. You can paint in midair, build obstacle courses, or try out our virtual instruments collections.
You can bend light at our laser light fog shows, or tour the Hallway of Curiosity full of illusions and science gadgets. We also host unforgettable birthday parties and other events. Kids never want to leave, and adults have a hard time going too!
Past the Hallway of Curiosity, we have another room called the Maker's Lab—a full makerspace with four 3D printers, 2 laser cutters, a cricut and a 15" vinyl cutting machine, a heat press, even a CNC machine, and more. At the Maker's Lab we offer creative workshops for all ages, from graphic design to electronics & soldering. It's a place where kids or adults can build, tinker, and create!

Play Museum & Maker's Lab!
The History of the Play Museum & Maker's Lab Once known as Play/Music, the Play Museum began as a blend of music and playful learning experiences that inspired creativity. Over time, we added more and more opportunities for hands-on exploration and discovery, with STEM/STEAM activities, the Hallway of Curiosity, and then an entire room of building, crafting, and maker activities— expanding far beyond our original vision. So, we’ve reimagined our space as the Play Museum & Maker's Lab, where music, science, technology, and art come together and inspire wonder in everyone who walks through our doors.
